Living in Chennai for all these years has made me to cope up with the weather conditions. It is hot most part of he year and temperatures go upto 40 degrees in summer. I have seen people crib about Chennai and its weather conditions et al. One cannot expect the climate in Chennai to be like Munnar or Kodai or any other hill station for that matter. Come on people, understand that Chennai is hot most part of the year because of its geography and not for any other reason. May be it is fashion to say how hard it is to live in Chennai just because it is hot. May be so….
P.S.:- Just a hot post to cool myself…

I do understand the geography ….but still its…HOTTTTT..in our street of some 20 houses there are atleast 18 airconditioners and hence severe low voltage and power cuts… i suppose we have been adding to the problem..least trees and most dependence on electricity….
I never crib about chennai heat coz there are lots and lot other places in the world which is hotter than chennai .. ..accrd to me singara chennai is not beautiful without its heat .. its one good place where we can do anything most of the months of an year:)
i still remember amma putting vadaam during Oct.. can you do that elsewhere
)
Dubai is hotter than chennai
Your not-so-local (non-)weather-woman reporting:
Latest figures from Dubai – 43 degrees.
Andhra is hotter than Dubai – registered 48 degrees a couple of days ago.
